The Blow Monkeys

The Blow Monkeys sono una band inglese formata nel 1981 a Londra. Il gruppo è composto da Dr. Robert (vocals, guitar), Mick Anker (bass), Neville Henry (saxophone), e Tony Kiley (drums).

La band ha ottenuto il successo internazionale negli anni '80 con hit come "Digging Your Scene" e "It Doesn't Have to Be This Way". La loro musica è una miscela di pop, soul, jazz e funk, con testi spesso impegnati socialmente e politicamente.

Una curiosità interessante sulla band è che il loro nome deriva da un termine slang inglese per indicare i poliziotti.
