Simple Minds

Simple Minds è una band scozzese di rock alternativo formata nel 1977 a Glasgow. La band è composta da Jim Kerr (voce), Charlie Burchill (chitarra), Michael MacNeil (tastiere), Mel Gaynor (batteria) e Andy Gillespie (basso).

La band ha ottenuto il successo internazionale negli anni '80 con album come New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84) e Once Upon a Time. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da atmosfere epiche e testi profondi, che li hanno resi una delle band più influenti del panorama musicale.
