Invocator

Invocator è una band danese di thrash metal formata nel 1986 a Esbjerg. La band ha avuto diversi cambi di formazione nel corso degli anni, ma i membri fondatori sono stato Jacob Hansen (chitarra e voce) e Carsten N. Mikkelsen (basso).

Invocator ha iniziato la sua carriera con un sound fortemente influenzato dal thrash metal degli anni '80, ma nel corso del tempo ha incorporato elementi di death metal e progressive metal nel loro stile musicale.

Curiosità su Invocator

Una curiosità interessante su Invocator è che il chitarrista Jacob Hansen è anche un produttore di successo nel campo della musica metal. Ha lavorato con band come Volbeat, Epica e Amaranthe, tra gli altri.

Un'altra curiosità è che la band si è sciolta nel 1995, ma si è riunita nel 2002 per registrare un nuovo album, "Through the Flesh to the Soul". Dopo questa riunione, Invocator ha continuato a suonare sporadicamente dal vivo e a registrare nuova musica.
