Exodus

Exodus è una banda thrash metal formata a Richmond, California nel 1980. La band è stata una delle prime a emergere dalla Bay Area thrash metal scene e ha contribuito in modo significativo a definire il suono del genere.

Il gruppo è stato fondato dal chitarrista Gary Holt e il batterista Tom Hunting, con il cantante Paul Baloff che si unì poco dopo. Hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, Bonded by Blood, nel 1985, che è considerato un classico del thrash metal.

1. Il brano "Toxic Waltz" è diventato un inno per i fan della band e viene spesso suonato durante i loro concerti.
2. Il chitarrista Gary Holt ha suonato anche con i Slayer dal 2011 al 2019, sostituendo Jeff Hanneman.
